On October 5th 2007 my wife and I were lucky enough to be selected from thousands of applicants to be married live on NBC's TODAY Show. Every detail of our wedding was designed by Martha Stewart, along with Darcy Miller and the rest of the staff from Martha Stewart Weddings. Being that we were just college students saving everything we could for a simple-backyard wedding we could not believe the incredible blessing and opportunity this was. Every week, for nearly two months, we were flown from our home in Arizona to New York City. There we were welcomed live on the TODAY Show to view the details of our wedding. Throughout this experience we were fortunate enough to meet some of the most talented designers in the nation who all inspired us to pursue our own passions for design. My education in architecture, Jess's love for vintage fashion, and our combined enthusiasm for sustainable design, paved the way for the creation of Reclaimed.
