meet Mr. Manhattan
I would like to introduce you to a very special man in my life.
He is interested in.. mid century furniture, new business ventures, architecture, out of the ordinary cheeses, Frank Sinatra, and eco-friendly design. He dresses super cute and has humongous, unforgettable dimples!
Who is this amazing man you are wondering…

….my wonderful Husband
OH MY GOODNESS! This is what our kids are going to look like! One of the many reasons I married him!

Oh the trouble he gets himself into!
He requested this picture to be up! Hahaha MEN

A few weekends ago we were in California at one of our dear friends weddings. It was so beautiful, we will tell you all about it soon. So we were sitting at the bar with our friends, and my cute husband ordered his usual-Manhattan. Many say it is an old man drink, some say it is old fashioned, for Cody that means it is just right. Our friends smiled and said how fitting of a name for you…Mr. Manhattan. It so is, and the nickname was born. From the time he was 5 years old Cody would dress up in his three piece suit just to go to Denny’s with his family on Friday nights. Quite the little wall street man! Sometimes I will come home in the evenings, walk through the door and hear the nostalgic sound of Frank Sinatra on the stereo, and smell the aroma of dinner in the oven.
We were married in Manhattan in 2007. His name is official in 2010.

As many of you may know I am a nursing student nearing the end of college. Things are going to be super busy over here at the Helgeson home. Mr Manhattan maybe stopping by and visiting with you all. He is a pretty cool cat! At least I think so!

This was adorable (just as is this font you chose for me to use while typing this!). You guys are such a wonderful couple, if only you lived closer to me and Mr.Manhattan had friends, ha!
I already have a request for Mr.M to blog about things he totally messed up, because when cute guys mess things up, it really brings on the lolz.

Although I’m sure you would love him anyway.
Hi, Jess, thanks for stopping by! Now, I remember Melissa writing about you a few weeks ago. Nice to meet you. You & your hubby are SO cute & how fun that you got married on the Today show. I missed it, but it had to be the event of the year. How fun that Nate decorated for you. I’m so jealous! I hope you’ll come back to see me again.
Rhoda,
